
Personal Tax (PLTX) AAT Professional Diploma (Level 4)(Online)
Course Description
This level builds on the knowledge you gained in the Advanced Diploma (Level 3). After qualifying, you can work in accounting roles or progress onto studying chartered accountancy.
Learners are able to:
Learn about taxation that affects UK tax payers – income tax, national insurance, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
Learn about deductions and reliefs, and how UK taxpayers can minimise their tax legally.

Must be over 18 years at the time of application. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but as a learner you will be ideally to be working with an organisation or role where they can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.
The Qualifications have been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression:
IELTS minimum 5.0- 6.5 overall with no fail.
Pass 5 GCSE subjects or equivalent
Entry requirements
You’ll need to have completed AAT Advanced (Level 3).
If you have a university degree in accountancy or related, we recommend that you move straight onto ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.

Assessment will take place via computer-based exam. This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own
