Maintaining Financial Records (FA2) ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting (Level 3)
ACCA Foundations comprises a number of awards from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). They teach you the fundamentals of accountancy, including recording financial transactions, management, business costs, and taxation. This qualification was previously known as Foundations in Accountancy (FIA)

Learn about the standards and approaches relating to maintaining financial records, and gain the skills needed for double-entry accounting and preparing basic financial statements.
Must be over 18 years at the time of application. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but as a learner you will be ideally to be working with an organisation or role where they can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.
The Qualifications have been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression:
IELTS minimum 5.0- 6.5 overall with no fail.
Pass 5 GCSE subjects or equivalent
You don’t need any qualifications to study the Foundation-level qualifications, just a willingness to learn. They are a great place to start if you’re new to accountancy, or work in finance and have no accountancy credentials.
