Course Description

Overview

ACA Advanced will build on the knowledge you gained in the Certificate and Professional Levels. Coupled with the experience you gain in work, you’ll attain a deeper understanding of accountancy and finance within businesses, and become eligible for chartered accountancy status upon qualifying.

Learners are able to:

Learn how to employ your technical knowledge, analytical techniques, and professional aptitude to resolve compliance and business ideas in corporate reports and auditing. You’ll learn how to analyse financial statements across a range of industries over time, explain the control and planning used in auditing, create and evaluate corporate reporting policies, and identify and explain ethical issues.

  • Entry Requirements
  • Must be over 18 years at the time of application and who have previously achieved a level 3 qualification. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but as a learner you will be ideally to be working with an organisation or role where they can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.

    The Qualifications have been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression:
      • IELTS minimum 5.0- 6.5 overall with no fail.
      • Pass 5 GCSE subjects or equivelant
    We consider applicants:

    Who have demonstrated some ability and possess Qualifications at Level 3, for example ‘A’ Levels or vocational awards.

    You are advised to have passed the ACA Professional exams before progressing onto Advanced level

    Assessment will take place via computer-based exam.  This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own
