Audit and Assurance (AA) ACA Professional
The Professional Level builds on your Certificate Level knowledge and teaches you how to apply technical knowledge to real-life scenarios. The Business Planning exams give you the opportunity to gain a sector-specific understanding while studying. There are three Business Planning units to choose from Taxation, Banking, and Insurance.
Learners are able to:
Learn about the essentials of managing an assurance engagement: acceptance, planning, managing, concluding, and reporting. You’ll also learn to advise of regulatory, professional, and ethical issues in assurance engagements; understand the processes and planning involved; and report in agreement with the terms of the engagements.
Must be over 18 years at the time of application and who have previously achieved a level 3 qualification. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but as a learner you will be ideally to be working with an organisation or role where they can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.
- IELTS minimum 5.0- 6.5 overall with no fail.
- Pass 5 GCSE subjects or equivelant
Who have demonstrated some ability and possess Qualifications at Level 3, for example ‘A’ Levels or vocational awards.
It’s recommended you pass the ACA Certificate exams to progress onto this level.

Assessment will take place via computer based exam (CBE). This ensures you minimise time away from work and that you undertake work study which is relevant to your own
